Boundless Early Education partners with Chance the Rapper and the Chicago Park District to provide culturally affirming early literacy programming through Chance & Bri’s Books & Breakfast, a program for 3-8 year olds that supports families in nurturing strong early readers.

  • STORY TIME

Two read alouds are offered throughout the event, read by very special guests!

  • BOOK SHOPPING

Envision an early childhood scholastic book fair- but FREE! Each student receives 3 tickets to go “book shopping” from a collection of culturally affirming children's books.

  • MAKE & TAKE

Families create early literacy “Make & Take” activities that can be used for learning at home or on the go, that support their student’s early reading skills.

  • FAMILY PORTRAITS

A family portrait is offered to each family in attendance. The Books & Breakfast family portraits serve as a reminder of the importance and value of families and children learning together.

“We don’t think of reading as a revolutionary tool, but it is.” - bell hooks
